Centerpoint Institute for Career and Life Renewal is hosting our December PSCDA meeting.

Join us for an evening of networking, wine and our fabulous speaker, Trudy James! Wednesday December 4th at 7:00pm.

This event will take place at
Centerpoint Institute for Life and Career Renewal
4000 NE 41st Street
Talaris World Campus
Building D West, Suite 2
Seattle WA  98105-5428
206-686-life (5433)

PSCDA members, please note this is a change from our usual meeting day/time/location on the 1st Thursday of the month at the Mercer Island Community Center.

Trudy shares with us why attending "Listening to Losses" is so pertinent this time of year:

"Because our culture is avoidant when it comes to grief and all things sad or emotional, we need places that are safe to explore more about our own losses and ways to honor them.

The holidays often trigger loss in us. We will discuss helpful, beneficial ways of dealing with that loss, and we will learn more about the value of "Listening to Losses--our Own and those of others."

Guest Speaker Trudy James graduated from Union Theological Seminary in New York City in the early 60’s. She has had careers as a hospital director of volunteers, a real estate broker, a hospital chaplain and a non-profit executive director and program specialist. She spent twenty years recruiting, training and supporting volunteer care teams for people with AIDSundefinedteaching both helpers and helpees how to listen to each other. Through her business,
Heartwork, she currently facilitates end of life planning groups and listening retreats.

PSCDA Members and Centerpoint Alumni have complimentary access.

All other guests are $5.00.
